World Bank's president honours D'banj

'Oliver twist' crooner D'banj was recently recognized by the President of World Bank, Jim Kim, for his role in using music to unite the world.
An excited Kim said, "I recently met one of Nigeria's most dynamic performers, the singer-songwriter, D’Banj. Last year, D’Banj spearheaded a campaign urging African governments to increase their investments in agriculture.
"This year, he is devoting his attention to the African Union's Year of Women's Empowerment. I'm honoured D’Banj is the first artist to participate in our new series, 'Music4Dev', encouraging global artists to raise awareness about poverty and related issues."
I bet he will definitely get some loans from World Bank to boost his Koko garri production.
